Introductory Psychology CLEP Test Description Introductory Psychology is a very interesting subject for students to take. The test builds on information that you have already learned through your life experiences. This information covers several types of theories in each major subject area. Not only will you be studying Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs or Freud’s Psychosexual theory, but you will need to know about psychological disorder such as eating disorders, anxiety disorders, somatoform disorders, etc. You will be tested on research design, how experiments work, different types of research, surveys, longitudinal research, etc. You'll also need to know case studies and all about test taking.
