The Western Civilization I CLEP test covers the information that is taught in the first semester of a two-semester introductory course at the college level in Western Civilization.

You will be tested on Ancient Greece, Rome, Athens, the Middle Ages, the Reformation, and the Near East. You will be expected to know the vocabulary and terms for historical dates, countries and and political viewpoints.
