College Mathematics CLEP Test Description
The College Mathematics CLEP test covers the information that is taught in the one semester college course in College Mathematics. This is the first level of math that you can CLEP out of, meaning that it is the easiest math test to take. If you have a difficult time at math or have limited experience this is the test for you. You will learn "from scratch" what you need to pass this test.

You will be tested on the real number systems, sets, logic, equations, functions, probability, About 50% of the test covers basic and straightforward problems. The remainder are require you to show understanding of concepts. You will be able to answer all the questions without needing a calculator. However, the do have one available for you to use just in case.

It is important to understand that you do not have to answer each and every question correct to get a passing score. You need to get 50 of 100 correct (in most cases) to pass. The people the write the CLEP tests want you to know about half of the information to get a passing score.
